Invite Your Facebook Friends to be LinkedIn Connections!

How to add your Facebook friends on LinkedIn:

  1. Create a Yahoo! Account (if you don’t already have one).
  2. Login to your Yahoo! Mail account
  3. Go to “Contacts”
  4. Click on “Import Now” under Import your Contacts from other accounts to Yahoo!
  5. Choose “facebook”
  6. Enter your “facebook e-mail and password” (that you normally log into facebook with)
  7. Log into LinkedIn
  8. Go to “Contacts”
  9. Click on the “Imported Contacts” tab in the Contacts tool bar
  10. Click on “+Add More Contacts” at the bottom of your Imported Contacts List
  11. Enter your “Yahoo e-mail address & password” & click on “Find Contacts”
  12. You will be taken to Yahoo, enter your “Yahoo e-mail address & Password”
  13. “Accept” the Automatic Login Terms of Service
  14. LinkedIn will now let you select specific or all your facebook (and now Yahoo) accounts to invite to connect with you on LinkedIn.  Be sure to add a semi-personal invitation message, something that would apply to all invites.  That’s warmer than the canned LinkedIn message, and is more inviting.

If you choose not to invite all your facebook and Yahoo connections, their addresses will remain in your Imported Contacts list that you can access later.
